Flash Developer / ActionScript 3 (Mid / Senior)

What we expect:

• You must possess a good sense for aesthetics and a taste for motion and interaction, but you are more interested in reducing complex problems to elegant solutions.
• A minimum of 2 years experience with AS3, and a solid understanding of the considerations of the Flash virtual machine (eg. Garbage collection, event driven programming, etc).
• A structured approach to development, which includes a focus on maintainability and separation of concerns. Preferably you work with framework such as RobotLegs, PureMVC, Mate, Spring, etc.
• Proficiency with either Flash Develop, FDT or Flash Builder.
• Your Flash skills are complemented by a decent knowledge of supporting technologies: eg XML, JSON, HTML, CSS.
• Basic familiarity with relational databases (eg mySQL) is assumed, but deeper knowledge of backend programming a huge plus.
• Knowledge of AMF, Media Streaming, and Web Services are also relevant but not required beforehand.
• The ability to work with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or After Effects are a bonus.
• Your personal characteristics comprise fluent English, structured thinking, self-reliance, dependability, resilience and flexibility and that you are furthermore a great team player.
• Enthusiasm for working on creative and exciting projects for international clients!

Your Functions:

• You are creative and able to produce and layout designs of your own for Internet projects.
• Your work is just “WOW!”

What we expect:

• You graduated from university with a degree in graphic design, design or visual communication or a similar education and you are proficient in the required software (Photoshop, Freehand, Illustrator).
• Internet is one of your hobbies and you know what it takes to design a good layout for an Internet site.
• Screen resolutions, Flash, HTML and databases are no strangers to you so that you have good understanding for those things.
• Knowledge of Flash is a bonus but no must.

Your Functions:

• You manage on your own authority client projects and the respective project team.
• Organisational matters and client consulting are also in your field of functions.

• You have special knowledge of New Media and Communication and are proficient in MS-Office.

• Support of the project manager with the coordination and supervision of running projects.

• You should be studying or already graduated from a marketing orientated education or something similar.
• You are up-to-date with the latest news and developments on the Internet and you offer a basic knowledge of Internet technologies.
• High level of organisational talent and motivated to do good work are some of your characteristics.
• Skilled dealing with MS Office as well as German and fluent English are required.
